About this project
A cinematic portfolio website for a photography and film studio (Halide Studio), built with plain PHP 8 and vanilla JavaScript - no framework, no database and no build step. The home page opens with a viewfinder-style hero slideshow, a showreel, a pinned horizontal work strip, a services bento grid, films, process and reviews. The portfolio can be filtered and switched between grid and list views, where a preview follows the cursor; each project has its own story page with a lightbox gallery, embedded film and next-project link. There is a film library with a YouTube player modal, a before/after colour-grade slider, Photo / Film / Hybrid pricing tabs with add-ons, and about, reviews and FAQ pages. Booking inquiries are protected by a CSRF token, honeypot and cooldown and saved to private storage, with a password-protected admin to read, delete and export them as CSV.
